I'm so glad you've come to visit my classroom page! I am Mrs. Taney and I am currently a senior at Old Dominion University. I will graduate in the spring of 2025 with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and will also have my State of Virginia Teaching License for grades Kindergarten through 12.
A few things about my personal life... My husband and I have been married for almost 13 years, and our home is sometimes chaotic between our schedules, our 2 children and our rescue beagle. We have lived in Southside Virginia for almost 8 years, and we absolutely love our community! I grew up and lived in South Florida for 25+ years before moving to Virginia.
Following graduation I can not wait to hit the ground running and being in my own classroom. My students will feel safe and comfortable, and will be constantly encouraged to learn, grow, and reach their full potential as individuals!
